I use and recommend Ethique and lush products for their environmental value and quality, thankfully there are more and more environmentally responsible products to chose from.

I know lots of people won’t use it, but a vegetarian soap is the best face / hand wash. No plastics, and you can even buy it in cardboard packaging.

Rather than shampoo and conditioner, I’ve been using vegan shampoo bars (look like soap bars) and coconut oil for conditioning. You can get them from Amazon or even better, farmers markets. They lather as well as shampoos and leave my hair smooth and shiny. Plastic/chemical free hair care!
